It's never too early to encourage a love of reading and learning! Bring your baby into the library for a fun program full of songs, games, and stories tailored for children up to two years of age!

Babies ages 0-18 months will love this fun program! 

The Plant Swap offers a welcoming space that brings gardeners and plant enthusiasts together to share plants, cuttings and gardening tips while fostering community engagement and promoting environmentally friendly practices.

Practice speaking English in this friendly group setting. All levels are welcome to attend any or all sessions! You don’t need to be a student of Oroville Adult Education to attend.

Attendees will be provided with a science fiction or fantasy title through the Book-Club-in-a-Box program and meet once monthly to discuss that title.

Explore compelling fictional narratives featuring historical times and people, in hopes that the human story will help us connect to our past, understand our present and, perhaps, help us shape a better future.

Let's get outside and make some flyswatter art! See what kinds of interesting patterns you can make with dipping flyswatters in paint and slapping it down on paper. We recommend that you wear something you don't mind getting paint on!

Let's make some ugly art together! For this event, each adult starts a painting and then we'll switch paintings every 5 minutes and keep rotating until all canvases have been worked on by everyone involved.

Join us for a sweet movie night on Wednesday, June 10th from 5–7pm at Chico Library! While we watch an anime movie, teens can create their own candy sushi using treats like fruit roll-ups, Rice Krispies, and gummy candies.

The community is invited to share seeds with each other! Bring seeds you've collected, come find new seeds for yourself!
No one is required to bring seeds in order take some. Starts are welcome too.

The library is staying open... just for teens. Join us for an after-hours lock-in packed with games, snacks, and crafts. Hang out with friends, meet new ones and experience the library like never before! Pre-registration required.
