It's never too early to encourage a love of reading and learning! Bring your baby into the library for a fun program full of songs, games, and stories tailored for children up to two years of age!

Babies ages 0-18 months will love this fun program! 

This program is all about having fun and getting creative! Stop by the Chico Branch to make huge collaborative art pieces with a catch: using flyswatters instead of a paintbrush!

Attendees will be provided with a science fiction or fantasy title through the Book-Club-in-a-Box program and meet once monthly to discuss that title.

In an informal setting, writers share their stories, poems, reflections with the group. Discussion about the variety of writing techniques and genres, and introduction to the Library's eResources happens periodically.

Come and make seed bombs with us! Seed bombs are a great way to get crafty and get kids outside to plant them. Kids can watch their seeds sprout and grow into different plants!

Let go of perfection and get creative with Ugly Art Roulette, a fast-paced collaborative drawing game. Every five minutes, you’ll pass your paper to the right and add your own flair to someone else’s creation.

Calling all adventurers! Document all your summer activities in a sweet, customized journal! You can look back at your awesome summer and savor the memories for years to come. Journals and decorations will be provided.

Plant a seed of creativity and let it blossom with fun crafts and fresh projects every week! Our Summer Reading Program is rooted in hands-on fun—come on into the library and start growing!

Step into a cozy manga café at the Chico branch on Wednesday, July 8th from 5–7pm! Teens can sample Japanese snacks and drinks, assemble their own onigiri, and explore food-themed manga while hanging out with friends.

Come on down and sing along as we watch Little Shop of Horrors together.
